The Community Safety Partnership
Introduction
Hinckley & Bosworth Community Safety Partnership has been working since 1998 to reduce crime and disorder, making the borough of Hinckley and Bosworth a safe and secure place to live, work and visit.
The partnership is made up of statutory and non-statutory organisations and groups that make an impact on reducing crime, disorder and drug and alcohol-related offending within the borough.
Whilst community safety remains a top priority, the resources to deliver safer communities currently face some significant challenges that all aspects of the public sector is facing. To meet the challenges, Blaby District Council and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council have joined together to share their expertise to help deliver effective and efficient community safety services across both areas.
The Hinckley & Bosworth and Blaby Joint Partnership have produced the Community Safety Strategy 2023-2026, a three-year plan through public consultation and analysis of crime and disorder in the borough.
The Hinckley & Bosworth and Blaby Community Safety Partnership have identified the following priorities:
- Protecting and supporting people
- Preventing and reducing serious violence
- Reducing offending and re-offending
