Football and cricket pitches for hire

Availability

Football: Block bookings for Sundays only (in conjunction with Hinckley and District Sunday League) are available from the last Sunday in August until the middle of April.

Cricket: Block and casual bookings are available for cricket between the end of April until the last Saturday in August.

With the exception of the practice pitch, all the other pitches are fully booked by the local clubs in conjunction with the Hinckley and District Sunday Football League. There are occasions when the pitches need to be unused to allow recovery after matches. If you are part of a team and would like to be involved in the league please visit the Sunday league website (thefa.com) 

Practice pitch

The practice pitch (at Clarendon Park only) is available every day. Please note this pitch does not have floodlights. To book the practice pitch please contact the council during office hours (Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm) on 01455 255729.

Fees and charges: teams

Pitch per 11 matches (per season)

• Team in the borough, pitch only - VAT exempt: £275
• Team in the borough, pitch with changing room - VAT exempt: £549
• Team outside the borough, pitch only - VAT exempt: £371
• Team outside the borough, pitch with changing room - VAT exempt: £686
• Junior teams are half the above adult fees

Fees and charges: casual lettings

• Per match facilities, team in the borough - VAT standard rated: £74
• Per match facilities, team outside the borough - VAT standard rated: £85
• Per match without facilities, team in the borough - VAT standard rated: £40
• Per match without facilities, team outside the borough - VAT standard rated: £52
• Junior teams are half the above adult fees
