Hinckley & Bosworth Citizens Panel

What is it?

Citizens Panel logo

The Citizens Panel is about finding out the views of local people. This is important so that we can:

  • Address any issues that may concern you
  • Continually improve services
  • Listen to your views and take them into account when making important decisions
  • Invite you to attend focus groups

Why become involved?

Anyone 16 or over can join the Citizens' Panel. The Citizens Panel is about getting members of the communities that we serve involved with our services and the decisions that are made about the way that services should be developed.

We can't guarantee that everything will change but what we can guarantee is that we will listen to your views and feedback to you on how these views have influenced our decision making.

Throughout the year, as a member of the panel, we will send you questionnaires and/or invite you to focus groups, which will ask your views on issues currently facing the council. We will also send you a newsletter once a year.

Confidentiality: All of the information that you give to us is confidential and will only be used for research purposes. No information will be published which allows any individuals to be identified.
