Paper and cardboard collections

The council provides a caddy that fits inside the blue lidded bin for paper and cardboard. The caddy that fits the standard sized wheeled bin holds 55 litres. Paper and cardboard can be mixed togather in the caddy with larger pieces of cardboard just flattened and placed next to the wheeled bin.

What types of paper and cardboard?

Paper items include:

• Newspapers
• Magazines
• Junk mail
• Catalogues
• Yellow pages
• Directories
• Paper
• Envelopes, both plain and window type

Cardboard items include:

• All types including the corrugated type
• Large pieces of cardboard will also be taken - if this doesn't fit in the bag, then flatten and place under the bag on the collection day
