How to get involved

Tenants and Resident Associations (TARA)

Group of people

Tenants and Resident Associations (TARA) can be set up in any geographical area of the borough, representing for example, groups of properties either by street or village. The group aims to engage members of the community to enhance and improve the area. Other advantages of having a resident's group mean that community events can be organised and any funding that is available can be applied for to make improvements within a community. Other roles of resident groups can be arranging area tidy ups or raising money for charity.
