Museums and galleries

The museums and historic sites across the county host a diverse mix of collections, displays and activities ranging through time from the earliest fossils to virtual reality. Hinckley and District Museum

Is a local history museum housed in a row of half-timbered thatched cottages dating from the seventeenth century. The museum has been open to the public since 1995.
