The services we provide
The borough has many popular and good quality green spaces including three Green Flag award winning sites: Hollycroft Park and Argents Mead in Hinckley and Market Bosworth Country Park, Market Bosworth.
The grounds maintenance work is carried out by the Borough Council's Green Spaces Team within the areas for which we are responsible.
Leicestershire County Council manages Bosworth Battlefield and Market Bosworth Country Park and the parish councils are responsible for parks and open spaces within the parishes.
The Borough Council provides the parks and green spaces in Hinckley and the majority of the countryside sites in the borough such as Burbage Common, Hill Hole Quarry and Billa Barra Hill.
The Borough Council has invested and improved its green spaces in the borough through the delivery of the Green Space Strategy.
The Green Space Delivery Plan 2014 to 2018 (PDF) seeks to build on these successes by further improving open spaces within the borough.
