Introduction to development management

We have achieved Smarter Planning Champion status.

Smarter planning was launched by the government's Planning Portal website as part of a partnership between planning agents, local planning authorities and the planning portal to improve and streamline the planning application process.

This has been achieved by applying best practice in the processing of online planning applications, using the planning portal as its preferred method of submitting applications, thus saving time and money.

Working electronically has helped us reduce printing and postage costs, in turn offering a more efficient and faster service for our customers and consultees. We provide links on our website to the recommended areas of the planning portal.
