Civic Offices Site (OJEU)
Introduction
As a consequence of the strategic decision taken by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council to relocate their operational offices, the opportunity to redevelop the existing site has now arisen. The council wishes to see a significant renaissance of Hinckley Town Centre, including the opportunity to regenerate the former site of its civic offices and adjacent land to Mount Road to its south. Our ambition is to:
- Secure a high quality residential development integrated within the site.
- Ensure that such a scheme also designs and delivers an extension of the main park connecting to Mount Road to the south.
- Safeguard part of the current public car park provision and the grassed activity areas within the overall site.
- Promote and sustain economic viability of upper Castle Street.
