Register to vote

The deadline to register to vote for the UK parliamentary general election has now passed. If you are not registered you will not be able to vote.

Voting by post

The first batch of postal voting packs for the general election will be despatched on 22 May by Royal Mail. In order to be included in this batch, you must have returned a completed application to the Electoral Services Office by 12pm on 2 May.

If you will be going away before 22 May until after 8 June, a postal vote will not be suitable for you and you will need to apply for a proxy vote.

The final batch of postal voting packs will be despatched on 30 May. In order to be included in this batch, your completed application must have been received into the Electoral Services Office by the final deadline of 5pm on 23 May.
