During 2015/16, materials collected by the Borough Council for recycling were sent to the following destinations:

Kerbside collections - recycling 

This is the blue lidded wheeled bin with caddy service. The materials are first taken to Palm Recycling Ltd in Coventry CV6 4QG, then separated and sent for recycling as follows: 

  • Aluminium cans  - Novelis Warrington WA4 1NN and European Metal Recycling Smethwick B66 2PG, and Alutrade, Langley Forge House, Oldbury, B69 4NH
  • Steel cans  - Ward Bros Ltd Darlington DL1 2NY and Morris & Co. Bankwood Lane, Rossington, Doncaster, South Yorks, DN11 0PS
  • Plastics - Roydon Group PLC Swinton M27 8LR, Lovell Recycling Telford TF7 4BFL
  • Beverage cartons (often known as TetraPaks) – Palm Recycling Limited, Palm Recycling Ltd Poplar Avenue Saddlebow Industrial Estate Kings Lynn Norfolk PE34 3AL
  • Mixed glass - Ward Recycling Ltd Barnsley S71 3HX
