Clean neighbourhoods policy and procedures consultation
This consultation is now closed.
What was it all about?
We reviewed our environmental and enforcement policy and procedures to include recent changes to legislation and now we would like to hear your views on what we are doing to keep neighbourhoods clean.
The policy now includes reference to the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) which is a new measure to deal with activities carried out in a public space that have a detrimental effect on the local community’s quality of life. A breach of the PSPO is a criminal offence and can result in a £100 fixed penalty fine.
What did we ask?
We asked you to read our revised clean neighbourhoods policy and procedures (PDF) before giving us your views.
The results will be available later this year.
