Overview of charges
There are charges attached to almost all building regulations applications. These vary dependent upon the type of building work being undertaken. Most types of work will fall into standard categories and therefore the charges can be easily calculated using the council's current scheme of charges.
Where the proposed work does not fit into a specific category, we can provide you with an individually determined charge.
Building regulations applications are not legally valid unless the correct charges are paid.
Credit card charges
We are currently charged a surcharge by credit card companies when you pay by credit card (such as MasterCard). Unfortunately, you will need to pay this additional charge at the time of payment.
