Council tax - change in circumstances

Tell us about a change in your circumstances

You are required to notify the council of any change in circumstances that will affect your liability for council tax within 21 days of the event occurring. Any changes which should be notified could include:

  1. A change of address
  2. A change in the number of adult occupiers at your address
  3. A change in your payment method (e.g. if you wish to change to/from direct debit)
  4. You wish to claim a discount/exemption (you will require a form for this)
  5. You have an empty property you are responsible for
