Monitoring and land availability

Residential and employment land availability monitoring statements

The council currently produces residential land availability (RLA) and employment land availability (ELA) monitoring statements for each financial year.

However, the RLA for 2022 – 2023 covers the period from 1 April 2022 to 30 September 2023. The introductory paragraph in the report below sets out the reasons for this.

The last ELA published by the Borough Council was 2020 – 2021. The most recent ELA report, below, covers a two-year period from 1 April 2021 to 30 September 2023. Further information on this is also contained in the introduction to the report.

A separate five-year land supply position statement will be completed and published in due course.
