Local Strategic Partnership
What is the Local Strategic Partnership?
The Hinckley & Bosworth Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) brings together all of the key organisations providing local services, including:
- The local authority
- The county council
- Public health
- Private sector
- The voluntary and community sector
- The communities themselves
Senior representatives from each of these organisations forms the LSP Board.
The LSP oversees the delivery of the Community Plan, and ensures that progress is being made on the agreed priorities. The LSP Board is supported by a range of key delivery partnerships/groups, who work on the Community Plan priorities. Each of these delivery partnerships has its own arrangements for undertaking ongoing consultation and research, to understand emerging priorities.
The key delivery partnerships provide regular reports to the LSP Board, and where appropriate the LSP makes recommendations to improve delivery arrangements and performance.
The LSP Board has an annual review session, to assess overall progress in relation to Community Plan priorities, which informs an Annual Statement of Achievements report, and agrees priority actions for each of the key delivery partnerships for the following year.
