How to pay

There are a number of ways to pay your rent:

Direct debit

Direct debit payments can be made on either the 1st or the 15th of each month. In order to use this method of payment, you will need to complete a mandate. If you wish to change your direct debit details, or require a direct debit mandate, please contact  the Tenancy Management Team on 01455 255861.


Pay online

View information about paying online. Then follow the link 'housing rent payments'. Please make sure you have your tenancy reference ready.

Please note that when paying online, you will not be able to view your account or outstanding balance. To find out any details about your account including your outstanding balance, please contact a tenancy management officer on 01455 238141.

Standing order

A form which you will need to use this method is available from the Tenancy Management Team (01455 238141). Please check with your Bank/Building Society as this facility may not be available with some types of account.

By post

Postal orders and cheques should be crossed and made payable to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Please send them, along with your rent card, to Hinckley Hub, Rugby Road, Hinckley, Leicestershire LE10 0FR.

24 hour telephone line

Payments can be made via the 24 hour telephone line by ringing 01455 619617.

Please do not send cash through the post.
