Online Planning Applications Welcome to Public Access for Planning Public Access for Planning is our online internet service that provides details of current planning applications. You can follow the progress of an application, make a comment, search a weekly list of applications and decisions, view historic applications and view property details including maps. Using the associated documents tool you will be able to view application drawings and attachments. To view public access please read the copyright notice below and click proceed. Submit a planning application You can submit a planning application electronically to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Using the following link to the the Planning Portal, which also enables you to pay your fee online. If you wish to submit a Paper Planning Application you can download the forms from the Planning Portal. You will need to submit 4 copies of all of the documents required. If you complete the application form online you are able to submit your plans and fee via the post, if this method is used only 1 copy of the plans are required. If you are experiencing problems using the Planning Portal please call their helpline on 0117 372 8200 Alternatively you can email the service desk at: Public Access Service The Public Access service continues to be developed and at the present time no constraint information is available online. The online planning history contained within the site at the present is incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal 'Land Charge Search'. No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained from 'Public Access'. Similarly the information contained within Public Access does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewers own risk. Under normal circumstances the plans and documents associated with new planning applications will be able to be viewed within three working days of receipt of the application. If none are displayed at the time, you may wish to try a few days later or alternatively you will be able to view the application and associated documents at the Council Offices, Argents Mead, Hinckley during normal office hours. This can be downloaded free of charge from the adobe website: http://www.adobe.com IMPORTANT Copyright Notice Plans, drawing and materials submitted to the council are protected by the Copyright Act (Section 47 - 1988 Act). You may only use material which is downloaded and or printed for consultation processes to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check that developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans.
