The main cemetery gates open Monday to Friday at 7.30 a.m. They close at: 4.00 p.m. in January, February, November and December, at 6.00 p.m. in March and October, 7.00 p.m. in April and September and 9.00 p.m. in May, June, July and August. At Weekends and Bank Holidays only the pedestrian gate is open at 9.00am on a Saturday and 10.00 a.m. on a Sunday and Bank Holiday, closing times as above. No. Our plots are all lawn plots, which means memorials are only allowed in the 'head' of of the grave.

You have only brought the right to bury in the plot. The council still owns the land. Please see the memorials page for guidelines on right to erect memorials.
