Hinckley & Bosworth Youth Council

We want your views!

Are you aged between 13-21 years of age? Do you want to have a say on issues affecting young people? Do you want to get your views heard on issues within Hinckley & Bosworth? If so, we want to hear from you. Hinckley & Bosworth Youth Council is looking for new members.

If you have an opinion on an issue or want to come along and find out what we get up to we meet at the Council Offices once a month to make sure that young people’s views are heard and understood. Since we were formed we have influenced the creation of a rural bus project, made a promotional DVD to show what we do, been involved in consultations with the Borough Council and library service and we are piloting a Champions Youth Grant. We have also been away on three residential weekends and on several trips such as go-karting and to the cinema. The residentials are a great way to get more involved with what the Youth Council is doing.
