Pest Control

The Environmental Health section provides a comprehensive pest control service covering a wide range of common pests including rats, mice, wasps, fleas and a range of other insects. It also acts as an agent for Severn Trent Water Authority to carry out routine sewer baiting.

To carry out these services the council has a small team of dedicated and experienced pest control officers. You can therefore have confidence that the officer who calls knows what he is doing and will apply the treatment which is best suited to your particular problem.

It is not normally possible to give an appointment time. You will however be given a definite date and if possible an indication of when during that day the officer will call.

Customers are required to pay either by debit card or credit card when making the appointment. Credit cards carry an additional charge of 1.9 per cent. Payment can only be made at the time of the visit in exceptional circumstances.
