Food and Health & Safety Courses

Training Course for Food handlers

The law requires the proprietor of any food business to ensure that his or her staff understand what they must do to handle food safely, so that it does not become a risk to human health.
For most food handlers, the Level Two Award in Food Safety in Catering is sufficient. The training course we deliver is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and is a nationally recognised award.

Training Course for Health and Safety

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health also accredits the Health and Safety course we offer, also at a Level Two. This course promotes understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace for all employees.

Course Details

Our training courses last for seven hours including one hour for the multiple choice exam at a cost of £45. The courses are open to anyone and if you are a food handler who requires training, it is expected that the business employing you will pay the cost of your course fee. If you run or manage a business and you have at least six people to train, we may be able to arrange to deliver the course at your premises.
