Ecoschools

EcoSchools is an exciting and prestigious European wide environmental award scheme for schools. The scheme takes environmental lessons from the classroom and introduces them into the day to day running of the school. The scheme involves participation from the whole school with pupils, parents, teachers and governors all playing a part to improve the environment of the school.

EcoSchools can help schools improve the environment of the school, raise awareness of environmental issues throughout the whole school and provide financial savings to the school. Some of the topics, which are covered by the scheme, include saving energy, saving water, reducing waste, greener cleaner transport and improving school grounds.
