Parks & Green Spaces

In October 2005, the council adopted a Green Space Strategy that will help drive forward open space improvements over the coming years. This section of the website provides you with information about this, as well as allowing you to discover information about council-maintained play areas and open spaces, including our countryside sites, such as Burbage Common and Woods Local Nature Reserve.

It is now possible to receive email updates on events at Burbage Common and other parks, holiday activities for youngsters, walking clubs, festivals, wildlife groups and volunteer work.

Submit your online request for areas of interest to you
