Abandoned Vehicles

If you notice vehicles apparently abandoned, then you can report this to the Borough Council by email: streetscene@hinckley-bosworth.gov.uk or telephone our help line 01455 238141. If officially abandoned we will then investigate and remove .

The service standard to remove officially abandoned vehicles is five working days.

Please note that obstructively parked vehicles should be reported to the Police on the non emergency number 0116 222 2222, or Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

Have you got a vehicle that needs to be disposed of for scrap? Remember that scrap metal can be valuable so you should be able to find a local company who will purchase your vehicle. These companies are likely to advertise in the local papers and the yellow pages directory.
