Hinckley and Bosworth Citizens Panel

What is it?
The Citizens Panel is about finding out the views of local people. This is important so that we can:

• Address any issues that may concern you
• Continually improve services
• Listen to your views and take them into account when making important decisions
• Invite you to attend focus groups

Why become involved?
The Citizens Panel is about getting members of the communities that we serve involved with our services and the decisions that are made about the way that services should be developed.

It is all too easy to grumble and groan about the services that we receive, the Citizens Panel offers you the opportunity to have a real voice and say in the way that services are delivered.

We can't guarantee that everything will change but what we can guarantee is that we will listen to your views and feedback to you on how these views have influenced our decision making. 

Throughout the year members of the panel will be sent questionnaires and/or invited to focus groups, which will ask their views on issues currently facing the council and the Primary Care Trust. These may be about the quality of services currently delivered or about the way in which people would like to see services developing in the future.

How to join?
Complete this simple questionnaire.

Members will be chosen from all of the replies received to make up a representative group.

Confidentiality: All of the information that you give to us is confidential and will only be used for research purposes. No information will be published which allows any individuals to be identified.
