Heating Grants
Grants of up to £2700 (£4000 for oil heating) are available for the repair and replacement of faulty heating systems from a government funded initiative called Warm Front. The grants are available for homeowners and tenants renting from a private landlord, subject to receiving a qualifying benefit.

In addition to the above measures Warm Front also supply and fit, draught proofing, Hot water tank jackets, loft insulation top ups, Electric central heating and heating repairs.
Top up grants are available from Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, should the work required exceed the maximum grant available from Warm Front, subject to qualifying criteria.

Help with Repairs to your Property
The Borough Council may also be able to help vulnerable owner-occupiers with financial assistance to help with the cost of essential repair work, such as re-roofing, damp proofing, electrical wiring, etc, subject to qualifying criteria.
