Published Wednesday, 24 June 2015
CALLING all artists who would like to take part in the first of a series of themed open exhibitions at the Atkins Gallery in Hinckley.
The Gallery, which is now run by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, is hosting an open exhibition this July on the theme of ‘summer holiday’ with all interpretations and mediums welcome. It can be trips home and away, sitting in the garden, summer events or any memories evoked by this time of year with up to three items for £12.
Rebecca Wilbur, Business Centre Principal Officer, said: “The Atkins Gallery is looking forward to engaging with local artistic talent and showcasing their collective works. Our open exhibitions are a great platform for first time and seasoned exhibitors to get their work seen by variety of people and create new connections within the local community.”
Submission dates are from 1 July to the 3 July at reception in the Atkins Building. Payment for the exhibition is online at www.hinckley-bosworth.gov.uk/pay, then click on miscellaneous payments, select Atkins Building from the list and then select ‘exhibitors fees’ from the drop down menu. This will generate a receipt and a web reference payment number which has to be added to the entry form.
The exhibitor pack can be found at www.atkinsbuilding.co.uk and includes the entry form, terms and conditions and payment details.
