The Borough Council is committed to promoting the safety and ensuring the well being of our community. The Community Safety Unit has been established since January 2002 to help with the fight against crime and disorder in the borough. Although crime rates in the borough are low in comparison with other parts of the country the Borough Council is committed to working in partnership with other agencies and the community to reduce crime, disorder and drug/alcohol related offending in the borough as well as the impact and fear that it instils in some of our communities and residents. This partnership working arrangement is through a body called the Hinckley and Bosworth Community Safety Partnership.
