Statistics Overview

Reliable performance is important in order to encourage and maintain the usage of quality web-based services. Our aim is to have the Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council website available for use at all times throughout the year.

This is not always possible due to essential maintenance, but we are committed to making our site available as close to 100% as possible.

Monthly website statistics, including page impressions and the number of visitors to our site are provided by eVisit Analyst.

Definition of Terms

• Visitors are individuals accessing the website via the internet.
• A unique visitor is an individual visitor who accesses our website during the month. A unique visitor is counted once even if they access the website more than once during the month.
• A visitor session is one visit to our website by an individual visitor. A second visit is recorded if an individual visitor returns to our website after 30 minutes: there needs to be a 30 minute period of inactivity between visits
• Page views are the number of times a page on the website has been viewed by all visitors
