About Hinckley BID
Town centre businesses in Hinckley will continue to benefit from the work carried out by its Business Improvement District after voting to secure a second term for Hinckley BID. The December 2013 ballot saw a turnout of 51 per cent as a total of 220 BID members cast their votes on the renewal of Hinckley BID, with 142 voting 'yes' compared to 78 'no' votes.
Hinckley Town Centre is in a very healthy position compared to most, with a vacancy rate of 8.5% compared to a national average of 14.1% and we are seeing more new independent businesses opening than ever before. What even more encouraging is that our local community are coming out showing their support for our town centre and keeping business local.
Hinckley BID is committed to strive to work even harder over the next five years, with our partners, to demonstrate our commitment to the town and its people. We will continue to listen to and work for the benefit of our members and must build upon our successes to make our second term even more rewarding for both businesses and our community.
The BID will continue to encourage a sense of local pride, gain the support of the local community to 'Keep Business Local' and encourage local trade within the wider business community.
