Have your say on the Local Plan 

The Hinckley and Bosworth Local Plan has been published at the Regulation 19 (Pre‑submission) publication stage.

Formal representations are invited from 12 noon on Friday 7 August and will run until 5pm on Monday 21 September.

What’s it all about? 

At this stage of the Local Plan Review, the Regulation 19 Local Plan is a full pre-submission document that is being consulted on prior to the submission to the Secretary of State later this year. 

During the Regulation 19 publication stage of the Local Plan Review, the consultation is focused on whether the Local Plan documentation is sound and legally compliant.

Officers will be available to answer questions about the Local Plan and explain the publication process at several drop-in sessions across the borough:

  • Groby Library, Leicester Road, Groby, LE6 0DQ - Thursday 27 August - 4pm -7pm
  • Sibson Village Hall, Sheepy Road, Sibson, CV13 6LE - Thursday 3 September - 4pm -7pm
  • The Atkins Building, Lower Bond Street, Hinckley, LE10 1QU - Wednesday 16 September - 4pm - 7pm

These drop-in sessions are intended to provide an opportunity to chat with officers, who can offer clarification on the content of the Plan and signpost how to make a formal representation.
