Large item collection - changes and concessions

Charges are reduced by 50% if you receive any of the following benefits:

• Council tax support
• Housing benefit
• Universal credit
• Jobseeker's allowance (IB)
• Income support
• Employment support allowance (IR)

Please note: the 50% reduction only applies to the benefits listed in this page; there is no reduction associated with other benefits.

If you are in receipt of benefits, you can only obtain a discount by calling and booking via the phone; please telephone 01455 238141. You will need your benefit reference number when you call. You will not be able to obtain the discount if you book online.
