Licensing Act 2003 - Review of a premises licence

How to submit a review application

Applying for a review application

To submit a review application you must follow the correct procedure, as we, as the licensing authority, cannot accept review applications that do not comply with the timeframes and/or other requirements set out under the Licensing Act 2003.

When submitting the application by post, please send your original application form (available on request from Licensing) and relevant documents to the Licensing Team. On the same day you must provide copies of the application and accompanying documents to all the responsible authorities and to the person who holds the premise licence (or club premises certificate).

Who can comment on a review application?

When a review application has been received, a 28 day consultation period will follow, during which a responsible authority or interested party may submit representations to us. The time limits for making representations will be set out in notices which have to be displayed at the premises, at the council offices at Hinckley Hub and on our website.
