Working for the Leicestershire Revenues and Benefits Partnership based in Hinckley

Grade 7, £33,820 up to £38,296 per annum pro rata

37 hours per week on a permanent contract

An opportunity has arisen to become part of the exciting Leicestershire Revenues and Benefits Partnership. The Partnership is a Shared Service comprising the revenues and benefits departments from Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, North West Leicestershire District Council and Harborough District Council. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead and manage the business development and support team within the revenues and benefits shared service based in Hinckley. 

This is a technical role that will provide the lead on IT systems administration support for  our key software applications; Capita Academy and the NEC Enterprise Document Management System. In this role you will be required to manage the team responsible for the development and improvement of  system functionality, this will involve working alongside software providers and IT departments, coordinating upgrades with the rest of the service, ensuring minimal distruption to customers.

This position is pivotol to ensure we meet our key deliverables contained within our business service project plan to include regular reviews of our business processes.

You must have a proven track record of managing a team and be able to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy. You will have significant experience in using a range of IT software in particular the use or SQL queries and processing scripts (in Unix or Windows) will be a definitive advantage. You must be able to work in a paperless office, have a flexible approach to your work and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position is subject to a basic DBS check.
