Commissioning the voluntary and community sector (VCS)

We are making funds available to voluntary and community groups, to support their jubilee celebration activities. Voluntary and community groups can apply for the following grants.

Making a difference fund:

• Constituted groups can apply for up to £3000 to support grass roots projects, to find out more and to apply visit making a difference fund (ruralcc.org.uk)
• Closing date: Friday 20 May

Community volunteering fund

• Small groups of volunteers can apply for up to £500, which is open to non-constituted groups, to find out more and to apply visit community volunteering fund (ruralcc.org.uk)
• Closing date: Friday 20 May

Further information

Please note you will need to demonstrate that you are an existing/established voluntary group, and that your jubilee celebrations are an extension of your existing offer to the community.  Please be advised grants are not available for one off private street parties celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee for which we wish you good luck and success.
