New website launched to support Hinckley and Bosworth's voluntary and community sector

The Hinckley & Bosworth Voluntary & Community Sector website has been developed through a partnership between Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and the Rural Community Council, making it easier for local organisations to access support, resources, funding information and networking opportunities.

The new online platform brings together a wide range of useful information in one place, including guidance on volunteering, grant funding opportunities, sector support, frequently asked questions and ways for organisations to connect and collaborate with others across the borough.

Funded by the Borough Council and delivered by the Rural Community Council, the website is part of a shared commitment to helping local community organisations thrive and continue making a positive difference to residents' lives.

The platform is open to charities, community groups and other not-for-profit organisations serving people in Hinckley and Bosworth. By joining the network, organisations can access free support and resources and become part of a growing community working together to strengthen local communities and improve wellbeing.

Councillor Michael Mullaney, Executive Member for the Voluntary Sector at Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, said: "Our voluntary and community organisations play a vital role in supporting residents and bringing communities together. This new website gives groups a single place to find help, share ideas and connect with others doing fantastic work across the borough. We are committed to supporting the sector and helping organisations access the tools, information and opportunities they need to grow and make an even greater impact."
