A NEW five year management plan is being prepared for Ashby Road Cemetery in Hinckley and the Borough Council would like the public's views on the existing facilities and possible new features.
The aim of the plan is to ensure that the council continues to provide a respectful, efficient and sympathetic burial service to the community.
Councillor Mark Nickerson, Executive Member responsible for Neighbourhood Services, said: “It is important that we get the views of the general public before we finalise our plans for the management of the cemetery for the next five years. This will ensure we are providing a high quality cemetery service that meets the needs of the people it serves”.
The consultation is being conducted through a short questionnaire, which can be downloaded from our Have your say on improvements to Ashby Road Cemetery page or by requesting a printed copy from the Green Spaces Team on 01455 255707 or via the contact form.
The closing date for the consultation is 17 June 2016.
