A special tour of Hinckley town centre is taking place next week to provide elderly and disabled people with the opportunity to see the Christmas lights and really get into the festive spirit.
Castle Street will be opened to traffic from 6pm to 7pm on Wednesday 7 December so that friends and relatives can drive the elderly or disabled person down the street at their leisure.
Hot drinks, mince pies and festive music will round-off the evening afterwards in the United Reformed Church on Regent Street until 8pm.
No booking is required, anyone who wishes to take part is asked to go to the top of Castle Street on the night where there will be a member of staff to assist.
