Hollycroft Park is a classic example of a 1930s park, which remains virtually unaltered. The park provides a variety of facilities including tennis courts, bowling green, pitch and putt, an art deco style bandstand, a bowls pavilion and toilets.

The main entrances are on Shakespeare Drive, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 0BG. Alternative pedestrian entrances to the park are Hollycroft, LE10 0HF and Westray Drive, LE10 0TL. A car park is situated off Westray Drive.

Tree trail and events

A tree trail booklet (PDF), available to download, has been produced to identify and give brief descriptions of some of the trees that have been planted at the park. The tree trail starts in front of the pavilion and continues around the park allowing visitors a leisurely walk whilst finding out for themselves about the variety of different trees the park has to offer. On its centre pages there is a map of the park indicating the location of the 32 trees included within the tree trail.

Hollycroft Park is host to a number of music events and concerts held at the bandstand during the summer. The majority of these concerts are free to attend.

Green Flag Award

Hollycroft Park has achieved the prestigious Green Flag Award every year since 2010. Green Flag awards recognise and reward the best parks in the country and Hollycroft Park stood out after impressing the judges with its excellent use of green space, well-maintained facilities and high standard of safety and security, as well its use of sound environmental practices.
