We tweet council news and events and we also retweet information from other local individuals, organisations, charities and businesses which is of interest to our residents. Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council uses a number of social media websites so that we can reach as many residents as possible, quickly and informally.

The Atkins Building (facebook.com)

The official account for the council-owned Atkins Building

Based within former Atkins hosiery factory, the Atkins in Hinckley is an exciting mixed-use centre for the local creative and business communities. The Grade II listed building has been completely redeveloped to provide nearly 40,000 square feet of space. It is divided into creative studios and serviced office space, an art gallery, café, and meeting and function rooms.

Like the page to receive news and special offers from the creative businesses based at Atkins and keep up to date with its regular programme of events and exhibits.

The aim of the Feast Hinckley page is to promote Hinckley's free entry Food and Drink Festival which started in 2017. The event runs over two days in the summer and hosts a range of food and drink vendors, live bands, a 120ft inflatable assault course, entertainment & more. The HBBC Jobs facebook page focuses mainly on advertising jobs available at the council, but also aims to promote other jobs and opportunities in the borough.

This is a web based service that allows you to communicate with other people and organisations in messages of no more than 280 characters.

We tweet council news and events, surveys and urgent updates for borough residents, and we also retweet information from other local individuals, organisations, charities and businesses which is of interest to our residents.

You can also tweet a question or comment and we'll reply by the next working day. Tweet us in an emergency or contact our 24 -hour emergency service (Control Centre) on tel. 01455 251137 or complete our out of hours contact form.

All of the content can be found elsewhere on our website. This helps deliver it directly to you in a handy format either on a PC, laptop, mobile phone or other handheld communication device.

You do not need to sign up to the service to view our posts (twitter.com).
