Hinckley and District Museum

Is a local history museum housed in a row of half-timbered thatched cottages dating from the seventeenth century. The museum has been open to the public since 1995.

Opening hours

Easter Monday to the end of October:
Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday 1000-1600
Sun 1400-1700
Also Mondays in August which are not Bank Holidays 1100-1500
Last admission 30 minutes before closing.
Open at any time for groups by appointment (Easter - October).


Adults 50p.
Children 25p.
Free to Friends of the Museum.
Minimum charge for group visit (by appointment) £10.
Special event days may be different charges.
