Burbage Common Open Day

Wild Play sessions at Burbage Common

There are a number of Wild Play events, run by Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust, taking place at Burbage Common over the spring and summer holidays. 

There are two sessions each day: one at 10am to 11.30am, and one at 12.30pm to 2pm. Priced at £6 per child per session. Booking is essential.

Clarendon Park fun fair - Barker's fun fair

Hollycroft Park 

The very popular Proms in the Park 2024 will take place on Saturday 9 June 2024, 6pm to 8:30pm. Full details in the events calendar: concerts in Hollycroft Park

Friends of Hollycroft Park events

The Friends of Hollycroft park group organise a number of Sunday band concerts on Sunday afternoons throughout the summer, with a variety of music on offer. 

Dates for this year are:

• Sunday 5 May: Ratby Mid Band 
• Sunday 26 May: Mind the Gap 
• Sunday 16 June: Junction 21
• Sunday 30 June: Take it from the Top  
• Sunday 14 July: Jones Jazz Orchestra
• Sunday 28 July: AcSia
• Sunday 18 August: Equinox 
• Sunday 1 September: The Rontones
• Sunday 15 September: JCC Alumni Big Band  

Other events organised by The Friends of Hollycroft Park are:

They also organise volunteer gardening sessions from April to October on the first Saturday of the month, from 10am to 12 noon. 

From February until the first week in December, their Community Cafe in the Pavilion is held on the first and third Wednesday of each month 10am to 1pm.

Argents Mead
