Some tips when searching
Search tips
- Use relevant, descriptive words
- Keep it simple – if searching for a name, just enter the name
- Search using the words that are most likely to appear in the page. For example, if you want to find out about planning permission, use the words planning permission as they will be used in the page
- Describe what you need with as few terms as possible
- Spell words and names correctly – Google does make spelling suggestions but it won’t understand every possible mistake
- Use double quotes ("") around a set of words to search for exact words in that exact order without any change
