You can notify us online of a cooling tower.
Time period for council to normally approve the notification
Once the notification is received, the business is registered and you have complied with the legal requirements.
What happens if your notification is not processed by this council within the normal approved time period (Tacit consent)
Tacit consent does not apply to cooling tower notifications as it is a statutory requirement that business operators register their establishment.
If you have not heard from us in that time period
No time periods apply to process a notification, however if you have any enquiries please contact Environmental Health

Any change in circumstances
If the cooling tower or evaporative condenser is de-commissioned you must tell us in writing as soon as possible. If additional units are installed or updated, a notification must be sent to Environmental Health.
