Civic carol service in Hinckley
Published 1 December 2011
HINCKLEY and Bosworth’s civic carol service will take place next Sunday (11 December) at St Mary’s Church in Hinckley.
The carol service is a great way to start the festive season and everyone is warmly invited to join the Mayor, Councillor Robert Mayne and other civic guests at this very special annual event.
The service will be led by Rev John Whittaker, who will also be joined by the Mayor's Chaplain, Rev Andy Murphy and Rev Bob Stephens, of St Catherine's, Burbage (on behalf of the Mayor's other Chaplain, Rev Canon David Jennings).
During the service, choirs from Barwell Junior School, Mount Grace High School, and St Mary's C of E Primary School will also be performing popular carols.
Guests are asked to be seated for 4.45pm, and the service will start at 5pm
