Changes for Monday collections this Christmas

Residents in Hinckley & Bosworth are reminded that due to bank holidays, collections will not take place on Monday 26 December 2011 and Monday 2 January 2012.
Alternative arrangements have been made to collect the refuse and recycling on alternative days as follows:
- Refuse due on Monday 26/12/2011 will be collected on Tuesday 27/12/2011
- Recycling due on Monday 26/12/2011 will be collected on Saturday 24/12/2011
- Refuse due on Monday 2/01/2012 will be collected on Tuesday 03/01/2012
- Recycling due on Monday 2/01/2012 will be collected on Saturday 31/12/2011
Properties with scheduled collections on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will receive collections as normal. Calendars are now being delivered, so please only contact the council if your old calendar runs out and you have not received your new one. There are changes to the brown bin schedule during the festive period and residents are urged to check the collection calendars carefully.
The Borough Council will collect real Christmas trees for composting in the New Year. Trees should be put in or next to the brown bin or left at the boundary (please cut to maximum one metre lengths).
