Current short stay car parks include: 

  • Hinckley Leisure Centre, LE10 1FL (for Sat Nav use LE10 1BZ). There are 106 standard bays and three disabled bays
  • Mansion Street, LE10 0AU. There are 17 standard bays
  • Rear of Castle Street, off Stockwell Head, LE10 1RE. There are 23 standard bays and 10 reserved bays
  • Stockwell Head, LE10 1RE. There are 42 standard bays and one motorcycle bay
  • Trinity Lane East, LE10 0BL. There are 45 standard bays and two disabled bays

Current car parking charges:

  • Up to one hour: 60p
  • Up to two hours: £1.20
  • Up to three hours: £2
  • Up to four hours: £3
  • Over four hours: £6
  • Motorcycles can park for free

A maximum stay of three hours applies at the short stay car parks below:

  • Church Walk, LE10 1DW. There are 82 standard bays, seven disabled bays, one motorcycle bay and three reserved bays. From 12 February 2024, Church Walk car park will be closed to all users, including those with disabled badges. It will reopen again in spring
  • St Mary's Road, LE10 1EQ. There are 73 standard bays, six disabled bays, one motorcycle bay and three reserved bays

Current car parking charges:

  • Up to one hour: 60p
  • Up to two hours: £1.20
  • Up to three hours: £2

Parking charges apply from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, except for Trinity Lane East which is 8am to 3pm. On Saturday's, St Mary's Road and Church Walk car parks charge until 3pm. Sundays and bank holidays are free. Access to car parks is available at all times.

In all car parks, if you use our PayByPhone system, there are additional costs incurred: 5p for using the service, 10p for optional reminder texts, and your service provider charge if you call them.

Payment methods

The pay and display machines in our short stay car parks accept coin, debit or credit card and contactless payments. Our machines accept all coins apart from 1p and 2p. We accept all major debit and credit cards. We now also accept PayByPhone payments via their app, online or by calling them. The machines do not give change.
