Bank holiday arrangements
Recycling, refuse and green waste collections
Recycling and refuse collections will take place as usual on all the bank holidays in April, May, June and August 2012. This includes the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June.
Residents are reminded that collections start promptly at 7am. Also, bear in mind that due to some residents being on holiday, this could mean the crews arrive earlier than usual. So please make sure your wheeled bins/containers are at the collection point by 7am.
Those celebrating these festive and royal events are likely to have extra recycling which the council will be happy to collect. Alternatively, residents can make use of the recycling ‘banks’ located at the larger supermarket and car parks around the borough (see http://www.recyclenow.com/ for locations).
