Gwendoline Community House

Welcome to Gwendoline Community House

Due to the success of the Earl Shilton Community House, a second community house, Gwendoline House was opened in April 2004. It was developed through the Hinckley and Bosworth Crime and Disorder Partnership.

The aim of the project is to work with local residents and young people, encouraging them to become involved in community projects and activities, helping to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, and by working together, encourage a sense of pride back into the area.

As well as the activities run from the house we can also assist in setting up tenant and residents groups and neighbourhood watch schemes, or any project you may need some help with.

The two community houses also work in partnership with each other, sharing best practise in order that they provide the best service available to the neighbourhoods they work in.
