Gwendoline Community House

Welcome to Gwendoline Community House

Due to the success of the Earl Shilton Community House, a second community house, Gwendoline House, was opened in April 2004. It was developed through the Hinckley and Bosworth Crime and Disorder Partnership.

Like the other two houses (Earl Shilton and Barwell Community House), the aim of the project is to work with local residents and young people, encouraging them to become involved in community projects and activities, helping to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour and encourage a sense of pride in the area.

The three community houses also work in partnership with each other, sharing best practice in order to provide the best service available to the neighbourhoods they work in.
